Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary.

Areas of Support

I offer counselling support for individuals and couples navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, donor conception, and perinatal mental health.

  • Trying to Conceive & Fertility Treatment

Growing up, many of us were taught how common unwanted pregnancy is, which can lead us to assume that getting pregnant will be simple and straightforward. For many individuals and couples, this is not the case. Trying to conceive can be incredibly isolating and bring up anxiety, grief, shame, and a sense of loss of control. I support individuals and couples navigating the emotional challenges of trying to conceive, IVF, and fertility treatment Learn more about fertility counselling.

  • Pregnancy Loss

Pregnancy loss can bring deep grief, confusion, and a sense of isolation. I provide a space to process the complex and often conflicting emotions that come with this experience. Pregnancy loss is painful regardless of how far along in your pregnancy you were.

  • Donor Conception & Surrogacy

Navigating donor conception or surrogacy can bring emotional, relational, and identity-based questions. I support individuals and couples through the complexity of third-party reproduction with both empathy and clinical understanding and offer the mandatory third party reproduction sessions required at BC fertility clinics.

  • Pregnancy & Postpartum Mental Health

Pregnancy and the postpartum period are often portrayed as joyful, but they can also bring anxiety, depression, overwhelm, and unexpected emotional challenges. I provide a space to talk openly about these experiences as well as birth trauma and the emotional transition into parenthood.

  • Involuntary Childlessness

When the path to parenthood does not unfold as hoped, the grief can feel profound. I support individuals and couples in processing this loss and finding meaning and direction moving forward.

If you’re ready to connect with someone who gets it, book a free 15 minute consultation to see if we’re the right fit.
